We put our Level 3+ plate up against the strongest NIJ testing threat - the 30.06 and passed.  4 shots from the 30.06 were resisted with 3 of those being under the 44mm NIJ backface deformation limit (only 1 passing shot is necessary for a passing test).  Our testing reports (see attached) even include the backing plate used behind the ceramic at the HG2 level, .44 magnum (PE standalone).
