Airsoft Night Vision RHINO Helmet Mount for PVS-7 PVS-14 NVG FOR PARTS

AIRSOFT NIGHT VISION HELMET MOUNT PARTS THESE ARE NOT COMPLETE. They are, at a minimum, missing the latch plate which affixes to the mount plate on the helmet. If you have those parts then a good percentage of these would work after being completed but NOT 100%. So consider these a PARTS BUY. Best idea we had was to mount them on helmets directly using two screws through the back. Notice I said "best idea" not "good idea." This is the listing from the ones that ARE complete. If they haven't all sold you'll see this available on my account: These are NOT USGI Mil-Spec A3256368 Helmet Mounts. They are the airsoft version. So they are great if you want to set up a helmet to look like the real deal and they will hold a PVS-7 rather nicely (Picture #3). If you're on a budget and/or hanging some inexpensive NVGs or a resin unit on your helmet then why not save the money? Right? So the good is that they 're cheap and they're actually pretty well made. There are some definite giveaways that they are NOT USGI like the phillips head screws attaching the mount to the mount plate (Pics 4,5, & 6)and the fact that sometimes they have to be "massaged" into some things. If you're going to put one of these on a USGI mount plate then a file will be needed. Pic 5 shows the unit without the release pressed in. All good. Pic 6 shows the release pressed and you can see a little tab sticking out the side. With a USGI mount plate this will interfere. Pic 7 shows the same mount with the released pressed after a five minute date with a file. Pic 8 shows some relief work done on the arm sticking out for clearance. In pic. 9 the one on the right is locked into a USGI mount plate. Works good. If you're going to use one of the newer shrouds like in the picture of this auction then it snaps in but it rattles. Tape or moleskin will fix the problem right up. Also the heads of pencil erasers work great with some glue. I have already gone through a larger pile to get the ones listed here and these do all the things they're supposed to like lock onto the bayonet adapter (the piece that lock into the mount). So there you have it. They're not AWESOME, but they do what they're supposed to and they're like 1/10th of the price of the awesome ones. Carpe Mountem! OK, SO I HAVE LIKE A LOT OF THESE.
