[AN/PVS-4] Star-Tron MK-428/LR170 Gen 3 Night Vision Scope

This is an AN/PVS-4 (Star-Tron MK428 w/ LR170 lens) Night Vision Scope!
Lens is a 170mm f/1.5 Catadioptric (magnification 6.8x) with a huge FOV (14.5 degrees). Intensifier tube is a Generation 3 MX-11620/UV (25mm format). Housing base has a 1/4-20" threading for tripod use.
Included is a unique and large bi-ocular lens for observing (from a 1980s B. E. Meyers & Co. Inc. Dark Invader night vision system). Screwed onto the rear of the housing, it’s held up entirely by friction. Under the metal plate shows superglue residue from the previous owner(s).
Intensifier tube has a thin scratch from the previous owner(s), but is forgotten during use. Body has minor cosmetic issues, but still in great condition! Fantastic for meteor showers, stargazing, surveillance, hunting and more!
